Mike Died In The Night

I have sad news to share. My pet hamster, Mike, has passed away. I am quite sad. I loved my little buddy.
Mike was 27 months old. Hamsters typically live between 2 and 3 years. I had come to really enjoy holding Mike has he slept. Then when he woke up I always give him a pet and neck scratch. Then he wanted some food and taken back to his sleeping hut. I'll miss him.
My neighbour is going to help me bury Mike later today. I'd like to have another hamster. I am not near ready. Hopefully I will get over Mike dying.
