Young Adult Stopped By Before Moving To College Residence This Weekend

Between 2015 and 2018 I attended the local gym in order to use the swimming pool for physiotherapy an average of 4 or 5 times a week. Overtime I got to know different families who made frequent use of the facility. One of the young adults is moving to his college residence this weekend. He stopped by to say 'bye' as he plans to leave town. It was wonderful to see him. Talking to other people and being focused on these conversations was a helpful distraction from the pain and strengthening exercises I was doing. I tried to make the best of the situation while going there. I also appreciated the encouragement various families gave me in what was a very frustrating process.
