No Funding Available For The Window Broke During A Break And Enter

I just got off the phone with Victim Services. There is no funding available to replace the window the intruder broke. I would had to have been assaulted during the break and enter in order to apply for funding. The local courts appears to have rammed the case through since the intruder was willing to plead guilty. No restitution order was issued by the judge at trial. Unfortunately I am reaching the conclusion that there was no accountability for the intruder. Instead I am beginning to believe the courts simply provided food and housing for this individual. I am not sure how you get on a different path in life without some form of accountability. I am glad I asked. But I am truly shocked at the lack of support for me as an individual.
