Victim Services Reaching Out To Me Concerning The Intruder

I had an unexpected phone call. The social services division of the Belleville Police Force contacted me. They were following up after the break and enter I experienced. Part of the protocol following a break and enter is to offer the victim a therapist. I was pleasantly surprised to find out this service exists. I've declined their offer. I wasn't specifically targeted. I am not struggling feeling unsafe in my own home. This isn't a service that I am needing. For those who need it I am glad this safety net exists.
