Follow Up From The Police Department About The Intruder

The arresting officer from the intruder incident contacted me. He had very disappointing news. The court case was prosecuted and no restitution order was given by the judge. My only hope now of being reimbursed is through victim services. He gave me their contact details. I will reach out to them. In some ways I am glad the incident is closed. But I struggle to see how the intruder learned anything from this.
