Ordered The Hardware To Vent My Laser Engraver
[ Saturday April 11th 2020 at 1:34 pm ]

In late 2019 I was learning how to use my laser engraver. I quickly discovered a short coming to my plans. In a technical sense a laser engraver is a very controlled form of wood burning. This triggered my smoke detectors to activate. I am now finishing off the setup so I may begin using it. The first step is to finish off where I left off in 2019. I have just ordered the hardware needed for venting my laser engraver. We are in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic. Amazon Canada has a major contract with the Federal Government of Canada. They are delivering essential medical supplies. It has caused Amazon's regular customer deliveries to become delayed. At least I'm in their queue. What took my attention away from getting the laser engraver up and running has been the challenges with my hips, knees, ankles and lower spine. I've experienced so much pain. It has been really debilitating. It is more than that. My hips and knees especially have been demanding my immediate attention. I haven't been able to get to give my attention to this. As I'm arranging more help I find that I have some energy to put into this. I am planning to etch my nature photos into wood. I am going to use the money this makes to hire more practical help. My most immediate need is someone to clean for me. I think I can do this. I'm just having to accept that I need to ask for whatever help I need to be willing to acknowledge what is too challenging for me on a given day.
