Ordered A Tablet Holder For My Bath Tub

I've been thinking a lot (and I do mean a whole lot) about how to manage the physical needs of my body. I've been thinking about what I need to be safe within the context of my physical disability. I've been brainstorming what would make a practical difference in my life.

I've discovered soaking in a really warm tub helps ease my pain and also loosens up my hips and my knees. But there is a huge risk with this. If you have a physical disability there is a risk of getting stuck in the tub. I have to make the tub safe for my special set of physical needs.

I'm adding a tablet holder and waterproof speaker to my tub. I've installed phone call and instant messaging software on the tablet so if I do get stuck I'm able to reach someone in the outside world to help rescue me.

The practical part of this is positioning the tablet so it is within reach. I've ordered a tablet holder that I will install in my tub. My hope is to make the tablet within reach for when I'm in the tub for the one time I'll need to reach someone for assistance. Then in day to day living I'll use this to watch videos, listen to music or podcasts as I'm soaking to pass the time.
