Planned My Menu For The Next 4 Months
[ Tuesday December 10th 2019 at 12:10 am ]

I've been taking steps towards cooking 2 - 3 months worth of meals. In September I purchased a 16 cubic foot refrigerator that doesn't have a freezer compartment. I have (2) 5½ cubic foot freezers for storing meals I've cooked and freeze. I also purchased a set of shelves typically used in a commercial kitchen for storing the perishable groceries. I'm getting read to road test my setup for the first time. I am starting to think through a massive cooking spree to get me through the winter months.

The idea of buying a large supply of non perishable groceries for the winter months was a suggestion of a neighbor. It seems like a credible idea. I've listened and changed my kitchen setup to accommodate the storage necessary to facilitate this. It helps to get an outside perspective and seeing how others would approach the set of physical challenges I have.
