Weather Station Signal Booster DC Power Supply Modification Completed

I have now modified my weather station signal booster. I have drilled a hole in the lid and soldered a 5.5mm x 2.1mm female pigtail to the positive and negative battery terminals. Now the signal booster is able to be powered by the electrical grid. I will be buying a UPS battery backup - surge protector. This is to provide backup power during a power outage and protect the signal booster during a power surge.
This means it is no longer relying on batteries. I can't reliably change the batteries every few weeks. The challenges with my hips and knees are too great. They create so much uncertainty in my life. This compensates for the set of physical needs I have. I am wanting the weather station to be consistent. This effort contributes towards this goal.
