Grocery Order Delivery

The grocery order I placed just as I was able to sleep last night has been delivered. I have a mixed opinion of this. Effectively you are hiring someone to do your grocery shopping for you. I honestly don't think this is worth the 30% surcharge the groceries cost me.
It has been very helpful as a strategy to get me through a busy week and my energy going towards what I am able to contribute to and oversee yard drainage installed at the rear of my property.
I would not use the service on a regular basis for my grocery shopping. I am more careful with my money than this. It would be much more beneficial for me to do one of two things:
- Give money to a neighbor so when they cook meals they are able to make an extra few servings for me
- Have a neighbor buy some groceries for me at the same time they are doing their grocery shopping.
When you live with a chronic illness you need to be able to prioritize and strategize the immediate needs in life. it has been helpful to get me through today. For this I am grateful.
