Weather Station Post Is In The Hole

My neighbor spent some time helping me again this afternoon. He dug the post hole to 57 inches deep using a post digger. Then he put the post into the hole and back filled it with the dirt that was excavated.
I used GPS to work out the southern exposure of the post. This will allow me to do a bit of wiring to allow solar panels to charge the weather station batteries. I am trying to make my life as easy as possible.
I have the weather station setup on my picnic table. I want to let it run for a few days in case there are any technical issues. This will be significantly easier to address compared to when the weather station is installed roughly 17 feet off the ground.
