Out For Dinner And The Evening

I've had a wonderful outing this evening. I was to a friends home for dinner. They sang "Happy Birthday" to me. It was a week late. But I appreciated it. Then after dinner I helped one of the children do a small repair to his sewing machine. This was very rewarding and enjoyable.
I also talked to one of the people attending this evening about one of my struggles. I would very much prefer having a wife while going through my physical challenges. But I find it very difficult putting another person through the treatment I am enduring.
There was one concerning thing happening this evening. There was a lot of noise for about 20 minutes and I found it nearly impossible to focus. The friend who knows me well picked up on this and asked me privately if I was ok. I appreciated this.
All in all it was great getting out.
