Identified Home Foundation Hole Using Infrared Thermometer

I've had an idea that has been helpful. I own an infrared thermometer. I've just used this to confirm my suspicion. I've identified a hole where the temperature is 10° F different than the surrounding. This explains my shower drain freezing during the winter. Equally this explains why no snow stayed near this area of my home.
I am going to talk this over with my friend who is an industrial electrician. I need advice on how to address this. I don't know a contractor I should be reaching out to for help addressing this. The friend I am speaking of has a well established network. He graciously helps me sort out logistic issues like this. I am very grateful for this.
