Lessons Learned From My New Furnace Installation

There are a few key lessons I've learned I want to share with those who have a low income households and physical disabilities:

  • My new furnace is incredibly quiet. I find that I am sleeping better. It is wonderful to have improved sleep without pain control medication facilitating this.
  • The use of an app to control the thermostat is life changing. It was causing me pain to physically go to the thermostat and change the temperature. It has already proven helpful to have this functionality. This remains within my sole discretion and is no part of an electrical grid program to save electricity during peak demands.
  • There is now geofencing. This allows a thermostat to adjust the temperature when you head out to automatically save on your heating and cooling bills when no one is home. However this does require a data plan on your cell phone to use this function.
