- Have you considered going to a therapist to work on your anxiety? Before a therapist starts helping you there will be an opportunity to ask questions and begin building trust. Going to a therapist is hard work. It doesn't bring instant results. But the time spent developing coping skills and finding closure from past hurts is what makes this so worth the effort.
