Rocky The Hamster - 2023-05-16 - Daytime Activity

Rocky The Hamster has been very ill during the past 3 months. He has experienced 2 abscesses. He is responding well to an antibiotic, has put back on weight and is acting like a hamster again. On Friday evening the second abscess burst and the area was bleeding. He is feeling well. This morning he was acting anxious but after spending about 30 minutes he was feeling comforted. He spent a lot of time resting on the weekend. The upshot is that he is awake during day time and having a look around Chez Rocky's. I have talked about some of what is going on with him. I am pleased with the progress he has made. I am enjoying caring for him.
