Supporting Grieving Children And Understanding Their Emotions
[ Wednesday August 31st 2016 at 10:54 pm ]
This afternoon a 9 year old neighbour boy shared with me about his pet dog who passed away. His parents purchased him a stuffed animal to hold and help him cope with the grieving process. I've made this video in the hopes of offering what support I can for children who you are grieving and need help understanding their emotions. When I was young a social worker gave me a page which had various smiley faces on it to help me late to my emotions. I created this version used public domain faces. I invite you to make use of this as opportunity present themselves. Our children are very precious. http://mypainmanagementtracker.net/downloads/How_are_you_feeling_today.pdf
