Unexpected Encouragement And Recognition
[ Monday April 18th 2016 at 11:24 pm ]

This evening a very rewarding moment occurred. As I drove myself home from my physiotherapy a parent recognized and called out to me. I do my physiotherapy at a community pool. This man's children (especially his son) like playing with me in the pool. It helps me to be focused on something else because of the pain created by doing my exercises. The son told his dad I'm his best friend for playing with him. This allows the dad to spend some quality time with his daughter in the deep end since the young boy needs adult supervision. I've partly made this video to encourage those who are enduring a long term physical disability that there still is a life to be lived. I've also made this video to challenge the viewers not to be handicapped by their mind, but to live out the full potential of their body.
