- If your relationship or marriage is struggling on account of your physical disability consider having someone else afflicted with similar physical challenges speak to your significant other. Perhaps having a different person explain the implications of a set of physical challenges and answer questions will use a different set of words than yourself and speak in a way that may "click" with your significant other.
