Gave Least We Forget Pin To Pool Life Guard Joining The Canadian Military In August 2026

I did something really special today.
After the previous time I used the warm water therapy pool a life guard asked me if I'd be present on August 4th 2026. I intend to be. He then explained this was his final shift. He is starting basic training for the Canadian military. I keep very special metal "Least We Forget" pins here at my home to give away to service members. I brought one for him to have today.
I wasn't able to give it directly to him. For today his shift doesn't start until 5:00PM. I will be on my way home when he arrives. I gave it to another life guard to give him. I explained I want this to encourage him as he joins the military and the personal challenges he might endure during basic training.
