Provided My Surgeon With Updated Incision Photos

About 3cm of my right knee replacement incision doesn't want to close. My family doctor told "slough" formed. The area of my incision that is affected is in a degraded state of healing. It can lag behind by up to 3 months. It became infected. Slough is prone to this happening. I finished the 7 day course of antibiotics on the weekend. Ultimately this is the responsibility of my surgeon to decide treatment. I have sent updated photos of my incision for my surgeon to look over. If all I well then I will be seen on May 28th 2026. Otherwise I will be given an appointment tomorrow. I honestly don't know what to make of it right now.
