Finished Preparing For My Hematologist Appointment
[ Sunday March 2nd 2025 at 6:35 pm ]
I have just finished preparing for the appointment with the cancer doctor tomorrow. On February 6th 2025 the emergency department doctor ordered blood work. Then he told me my blood was so remarkably healthy that having an appointment with a hematologist isn't needed. But my surgeon wanted this to happen. Based on being told my blood is "remarkably" healthy I have:
- Printed off MRI imaging reports starting with before my hip joints were replaced. The unusual finding suggesting the possibility of bone marrow cancer wasn't present before my hip joints were replaced.
- A photo of me on crutches at my 17th birthday since I had lost the use of my right knee. A doctor can't deny what he sees.
- I have photos from 2015 showing when bruises started appearing on my knee joints
- A line graph I drew showing how my right knee has deteriorated as I've gone throughout my life. I've focused on the major events and patterns that have happened in my life.
Ultimately what I've prepared will be a dress rehearsal for presenting it to my surgeon.
