Ordered Geotagging GPS Receiver For My New Camera

I've just purchased a geotagging unit for my DSLR camera. I've thought about this during the past week.
- Do I need it?
- Is it purposeful?
- What I am getting for my money?
- Am I even able to justify money on this?
- Is this helpful and functional?
- What are the social aspects to this?
- Is there a long term benefit?
I've needed time to think about these things.
Ultimately my life is going through a season of change right now. I have been thinking about my goals and what I am aiming for in life. Photography has been very important to me during the past 13 years of my medical treatment. As the geotagging unit is compatible with a variety of DSLR cameras I think it is worth the purchase.
