Left A Phone Message For The Surgeon Who Replaced My Hip Joints

I've been thinking about my life, goals, what I am able to reasonably accomplish and the direction for my medical treatment after the unsuccessful knee injections. I wasn't able to recover after my hip joint replacement surgeries. You just can't do a normal course of hip replacement physiotherapy with severely deteriorated knees. Replacing my hip joints complicated my physical challenges. I've not made the lasting gains expected.
I've left a phone message for the surgeon who replaced my hip joints administrative assistant. I've asked if I could write a 1½ page letter to this surgeon to inquire if he is interested or willing to operate on my knee joints. When I was having my hip replacement surgery follow up appointments I didn't have confidence I was being taken seriously when articulating the set of challenges my knee joints were having on the hip replacement surgery to this surgeon. It is a lot of effort to get me to appointments. I would rather avoid being discouraged with another appointment with him concerning my knees not going well and spend my energy pursuing a different surgeon. The surgeon's administrative assistant is good at returning phone messages. I expect I will hear back at the start of next week.
