Working To Address Dry Rot In The Foundation Of My Home

I have made a disappointing discovery. There is some dry rot in the foundation of my home. For the time being I am going to patch the gap. This will prevent rodents from getting into my home. The effort involved in my hips and knees is taking most of my effort to manage right now. One of my friends has been here to help me. What he has done for me is break up the concrete sidewalk around the dry rot. This means accessing it to patch and eventually repair will be easy. I have really appreciated how kind Andy has been to me this morning. This wasn't a hard job to break up the concrete. But it is something I can't do. Andy was more than willing to do this for me and in a way that didn't make me feel disabled. I have really appreciated this. I need more rest. I will work out what wood is needed to patch this when I am fresh.
