Serious Setback With My Right Knee Joint

My right knee joint is continuing to be concerning from the setback that occurred on Tuesday. The 7½ cm x 2½ cm bruise re-appeared as I took the steps needed to access my tub just now. Then 5 minutes later swelling occurred in my right knee. This made it appear as if I have 2 knee caps. I don't know what I've done. It is clearly something is wrong. The concerning part is that I didn't fall or experience external trauma to my right knee on Tuesday when this occurred. I am not using blood thinners. I tend to think my right knee joint is self destructing. The silver lining is that the photos I took puts a knee surgeon in the position where he can't deny what I am experiencing. With how I am experiencing such as "one off" situation I've been put in a position where I need to prove what is happening. Also I already have a pain management appointment lined up on June 1st. My next step will be to send a letter to the surgeon I am waiting to see with the purpose of securing an assessment in a timely fashion.
