Tested The Water Cooler Stored In The Shed Since 2009

In 2003 I purchased a water cooler. This was to make it so I could have drinking water in the bedroom I was renting. It worked well. When I purchased my home I used it here until 2009. In 2009 I underwent an unsuccessful surgery in an attempt to repair both of my hip joints. My home required a different layout to get me back living in it after my surgery. My water cooler was stored in my shed.
As I am working in the shed part of my goal is to get rid of what is no longer needed for my life. Since I haven't used the water cooler all this time it needed to go. I thought I'd start by testing it. I promptly made a disappointing discovery. Before it was stored the water wasn't fully drained using the water drain. As a result the water lines burst and the thermostat circuit board that controls cooling and warming up water for drinking was damaged. It is wrecked.
I had been hoping to sell it. But at least this gives me an answer and I may now make arrangements to properly dispose of it. I've enjoyed doing this. It has reminded me of my life in what feels like a life time ago. Ultimately this means space in the shed will be freed up. It will make it easier to use the shed for my new purpose. All in all I am glad there is now a decision made over this.
