Purchased The Impact Driver Bit Needed For Installing The Shed Structural Screws

My ΒΌ" hex impact driver bit busted. I have no idea why. But it did. I've just purchased a replacement. This is crucial to my plans. I am having hurricane ties added to the shed. In common English this joins the roof of the shed to the walls with metal brackets. If a natural disaster occurred it would be likely that I could initially sleep inside the shed while sorting out a better plan. This is something I had been planning on doing for a few years. A storm this summer validated the reason: A number of buildings lost their roof during an intense storm this summer. Thankfully my home wasn't impacted. But there clearly is the need for this. It is costing between $60 and $80 to do this. It is a really cheap insurance policy. With the uncertainty my legs create this is one way of planning ahead for and managing the set of needs to have. By planning ahead I have an idea of how I'd respond to various situations. On the city website is a statement that in the event of a natural disaster the initial 72 hours are on residents to fend for themselves and have their own plan. Securing the roof so it won't come on during a disaster is part of my plans for the unexpected.
