E-Mailed The Knee Unloaded Brace Because Of Now Experiencing Lateral Instability

I recently received a custom knee unloader brace. It isn't providing the expected support for my right knee. I am now experiencing lateral instability. The bones in my right leg went out of alignment at the knee while I was wearing the brace. I've contacted the brace clinic to advise them of this and ask "what now". Compared to before the bones going out of alignment the swelling in my right knee joint has jumped another 30%. I was suppose to have an appointment with a specialist on April 14th. This was cancelled at the last minute due to the doctors illness. At this point I think it is reasonable to draw on the skills of the bracing clinic as an intervention. The doctor appointment has been re-booked for May 5th. This doctor wants to have more time with me than his typical appointments. This was as soon as he could get me in. What's really concerning me is the failure sequence I am enduring with my right knee joint is almost identical to what I endured in 2006 with my left hip joint. I know I need the help. I need to get into a specialist who has the most availability.
