Helpful Discussion With A Nursing Home Activities Coordinator
[ Thursday April 13th 2017 at 7:35 pm ]
When I arrived to the pool where I engage in my physiotherapy a nursing home activities coordinator was in attendance with her son. She shared with me the strategy she uses with her patients to maximize their quality of life. She encouraged me to focus on the effort I am making, not the quantity of physiotherapy I am able to achieve. Overall I agree with this.
However there is a practical reality that I inevitably am going to need help at home. It is the challenge of arranging the activities of daily living. I need some time to think. I am self aware. I've got several important goals to achieve this year. As they happen my quality of life will improve. Then I'll be able to think about long term.
