Delivery Of Barrel Connectors To Power My Server Fans

I am running a series of RockPro64 single board computers for my server. These work well as servers for my pursuit of self employment. However it is also becoming clear that I am at the outer limits of the technology and on the verge of needing traditional servers. The "catch" is that when I was planning for my servers the need for redundancy made the use of single board computers make financial sense. I need a robust solution if the web site was going to have the consistency I needed for a viable self employment business. With my physical disability and chronic pain my web site presence is essential to my success or failure in my pursuit of self employment.
One of the challenges single board computers have is the lack of a BIOS. This has again shown itself to be problematic in troubles getting the CPU cooling fan to work. I've read up on the issue. I haven't been successful in enabled the module that allows the CPU fan to be powered through the pwm fan connector. At this point I've decided to take a different approach. I am going to do what crypto currency miners do in cooling their rigs. I've decided to add a 5.5mm x 2.1mm barrel connector plug to the RockPro64 NAS case and power the CPU cooling fans separately. The barrel connectors needed for this have just been delivered. I will get this done within a few days. I do have the high profile heat sync installed on them. I am wanting to keep the ambient temperature inside the cases down so the SSD and HDD drives won't suffer a pre-mature death due to heat. It is significantly less expensive to pay $20 per fan than repeatedly buying replacement drives.
