Purchased Steel Shelves For My Kitchen Pantry

When I purchased this home in 2004 it was a "handyman special". It required a lot of repairs. When I was 18 months into this I suddenly lost the use of my left hip joint. I couldn't complete the repairs. On account of this being a "handyman special" home and the ongoing health care challenges I never really settled into living here. I didn't develop the systems a person would normally use for living out day to day life.
I've just ordered a set of shelves to become my kitchen pantry. In fact I purchased 2 units. I will be joining them together to make 1 set of shelves 8 feet tall with a shelf every 9 inches. I don't have proper storage for a pantry.
The volume of storage this will provide me with is to support my plans. I am planning to shop for and then cook 2 months worth of meals at a time. I have the storage space in my 2 chest freezers for this. It is going to help me so much doing it this way.
I've been having a very hard preparing my meals. The pain in my hips, knees and ankles is severely limiting what I am able to accomplish each day. I've found myself purchasing most of my meals during the past 3 months. It is obvious I need a huge supply cooked in advance and frozen. If I can get my meals under control and out of the way (so to speak) then I will be doing things I enjoy with my life and doing what I have control over to give me the best quality of life.
