Completed The Letter Explaining That I Need My Hip And Knee Treatment To Happen At The Same Time

What made the most sense to me was to start with finishing the letter to the hip and knee surgeon. Before I went to bed last night both of my knee joints were rigid. There is no way I'd be able to complete a successful course of physiotherapy for my hip replacement revision surgery. It is obvious my knee joint treatment needs to be parallel with my left artificial hip surgery.
The hip surgeon in Kingston sent a referral to an Ottawa knee surgeon on August 1st 2024. The hip surgeon is recommending a form of knee surgery on me already. When I had the appointment with my hip surgeon on October 28th 2024 he wanted me to still pursue this and was surprised I had not been seen yet. With the stiffness in both of my knees I have just finished writing this letter to both surgeons. My friend Joel will read it over tomorrow morning. Then I will fax it.
The letter is to 2½ pages long. It is longer than I want it to be but there is nothing I'd remove. I've explained about the hip replacement, the knee stiffness, the nausea my soft tissue pain is causing me, every non surgical intervention attempted for my knees, what has changed with my knees and a paragraph summary of what I am trying to do with my life. Joel will tell me if I need to make changes. He has his own orthopaedic issues and understands the orthopaedic world.
