Borrowed The DVD For Our Next Movie Night
[ Monday April 22nd 2024 at 1:20 pm ]

I just stopped into my local library. I have borrowed the DVD movie I will be watching with friends on Friday evening. On account of my left artificial hip likely being in hardware failure I used the library website to put the DVD on hold. It means I didn't have to do painful bending reaching to the shelf that holds the DVD movies myself. This is a strategy that is working well on account of my physical disability. The library staff are happy to offer this service. Each of the library employees I have spoke to are simply glad to help. They have been fantastic.

While I was here they told me about the 3D printer the library offers. This is an excellent resource to know is available. The use of 3D printing might come in handy to make one off items in order to make my life easier in terms of living with a physical disability. Also I am considering 3D printing an MRI of my knee to help a surgeon to discuss what is wrong with it. This would get my skin out of the way to so I may point to where it hurts. It would also help to visualize the tear that has been identified and see how it interacts with the rest of my knee specifically. I need to do some more research.
