I am genuinely impressed with Brother Canada. I contacted them with a question about my new sewing machine. They have contacted with a resolution to my inquiry: They are replacing my sewing machine under warranty to err on the side of caution.
I purchased a heavy duty sewing machine. This matches the heavier textures I periodically will sew. The sewing machine has a motor with lubricating grease to match. What has been explained to me is that some smell of oil is to be expected. But not what I am describing. I've been able to smell the oil about 3 feet / 90cm from the sewing machine. It smells like my grandma's home during winter due to heating with oil.
A company that has integrity and employees willing to listen really impresses me. When I reached out to them with my inquiry I explained I was seeking a warranty exchange. I wanted understand what is a reasonable expectation. I am very grateful for the employees of Brother Canada who have assisted me with my sewing machine issues over the past few months.
