VIA Rail Going Above And Beyond what I Could Ever Expect

I am feeling really grateful right now. When my body has physically recovered from today's travel I need to send a few "thank you" letters to VIA Rail.
I didn't know what time the appointment with my surgeon would finish. My plan was to get the next available train back to Belleville. What has made me really grateful is that the VIA Rail in charge employee at the Kingston station got me onto the train that was arriving within minutes of creating my ticket. Then he got out the lift to load my power wheelchair and myself onto the train.
What this means is that I will be able to make use of the 3:15PM to 4:30PM warm water therapy pool time slot as well as the 7:15PM to 8:30PM time slot. Right now there isn't anything more important in my life than getting my right knee joint rehabilitated and recovered from being replaced. This is more than just a ride. The VIA Rail staff have taken care of me as a person. I honestly couldn't be more grateful.
