Got Supports For My Raspberry Plant Setup With The Help Of A Friend

My friend Mike has come over to my home to help me for a few minutes. My raspberry plant is doing very well. The branches are so long that they need supporting. I have been thinking about setting up a simple trellis in the shape of a "Tic Tac Toe" board. But I first want to see the shape of the raspberry plant so I confidently know I am putting supports that match the needs of the plant.
Mike put in (2) 1" x 2" x 8' pieces of wood on either side of the container it is growing in. For the time being we have used string to frame in the plant. I figure string is easier to manage as my first raspberry plant grows. This gives me time to figure out the best solution when we get to next year.
Mike has done a really great job. I am not bending too well right now. It is just outside of my physical ability to do this by myself. I also need to save all my physical efforts for when I am doing my physiotherapy. Mike has been very gracious in helping me and understanding the limits to my physical abilities. This isn't to mention just how much I am enjoying getting outside each day to water my raspberry and grape plant.
