Administered Treatment #9 For Rocky The Hamster's Abscess With Cryogenic Freezing

I just Rocky the next freezing treatment. This has time around it has been hard. Rocky was clawing at the abscess. He had blood on his body around the abscess. I gave Rocky an opportunity to cuddle with me in the sleeve of my house coat. Then I cleaned him up using Q-tips and saline solution. After this I applied some antibiotic to the site to help his body fight off an infection. The site of blood doesn't make my queasy or grossed out. I have been through enough of the treatment with my legs that the sight of blood doesn't bother me. It is positive that Rocky is itching. The sensation of itching is related to healing. I know this all too well myself from the various surgeries I've endured. I am hopeful the process I am doing to help Rocky is working. It doesn't look like the abscess is growing. This is positive. I love my little buddy and only want what is best for him.
