Delivery Of Replacement Chuck For My Drill Press

The chuck on my drill press is starting to run as an oval instead of being circular. It is time for the chuck to be replaced. The drill press is nearly 30 years old. It is a solid machine. It is worth putting money into it. There is nothing wrong with the frame. I found a youTube video showing how to dislodge the chuck and mount the replacement. Someone already did the "grunt" work figuring out the replacement part. I ordered it and it has been delivered! I will get out my wrench and screw driver to change it once I finish fabricating a pair of welding electrodes. I am using the drill press as a milling machine. The odd time I hit the chuck. I don't want to cause damage to the new one right off the start. I am so glad it is here. I get a lot of satisfaction out of using my hands.
