Inquiring About "Runners Knee" Diagnosis On A Previous MRI

When I was at my appointment on February 24th something was eating at me. I couldn't recall why I thought my knee bruising was a knee issue and not a dermatologist issue. I've now been able to look back at notes I've made.
My very first knee MRI had a diagnosis of the medical term referring to "runners knee". I have to wonder if the radiologists who reported my more recent knee MRI's found the knee tear and stopped looking. I've just contacted my specialist to ask him about this as a possible source of pain, the bruising I experience and if my custom knee brace needs design features for this specifically. I would like to give the knee treatment the best possible chance of working.
There was another purpose to the e-mail. This doctor seems like he really wants to help me. He wanted me to e-mail him when I knew what my knee brace measuring and fitting dates will be. He gave me instructions to relay onto the specialist who will make the actual brace. Since it is a custom brace I think there is merit in asking about this as well. I'd rather be thorough and methodical.
