Continuing The Digging For My French Drain Yard Drainage
[ Monday July 13th 2020 at 7:00 pm ]
Now that the sides of my French drain are dug, filled with drainage gravel and have earth on top for new grass to grow the digging has continued. This is to address my yard flooding from the melting snow pooling. The French drain provides a pathway for the water to get below the frost line and absorbed into the ground as it melts. The digging today is in the center area where I'll be having help casting a yard drain. This is the section of the French drain that needs to be dug below the frost line. I can see this coming together during the next few weeks. It will be great to have this off my "to do" list.
