March 2021 Newsletter Edition
Much of my efforts in March have revolved around my computer skills. Before I share what I've been doing I want to share the back story on how I got started on the computer.
When I was a very young adult I had Legg Perthes disease of the left hip joint. One of the strategies told to my parents for me was using the computer instead of sports. This has served me well in my life. During this month I've made good use of these skills. I've assembled a crypto currency mining rig. This should provide a passive income. With the state of my legs and the challenges they are creating the passive income will be helpful. There is maintenance of my home that is needed. There are also some tools that would be helpful in better managing my physical disability such a chair lift. I am trying to help myself.
I spent some more time cleaning and organizing in March. I cleaned and organized one of the bedrooms in my home. It appears the room had become used for storage when the effort was being made to get me back living in my own home again after my unsuccessful double hip surgery. With my physical challenges cleaning and organizing this room never really made it to the top of my to do list. I have proceeded to organize it so my crypto currency mining rig is setup in there. It works well for this purpose.
I purchased a mobility scooter trailer. I have finished wiring up LED lights on it. I am trying to make it visible. The next step is making connections to my power wheelchair and mobility scooter. It is coming for me. It is too bad I am just getting to this. There is life skill to be had of managing what is most important - what to give your time and energy to. I am glad this step is completed. The trailer represents improved independence given my physical challenges. It is certainly a step forward.
After receiving more inheritance money I made a lump sum payment to the principal of my mortgage. I am hoping to finish paying out my mortgage in August. I am getting really close. It will be a huge relief to no longer be in debt. I am so glad this is happening.
