July 2020 Newsletter Edition
July has been a very full month. It has felt like a marathon. I am pleased with the progress I've made towards my goals. However I am needing some down time again as this month comes to an end.
The yard drainage project is coming along nicely. The concrete yard drain has started being cast. This is to provide a pathway for spring rain water and melting snow to be absorbed into the ground below the frost line while the ground unthaws each spring. I had the drainage gravel delivered. Help has started filling in the trench. The project is going well. What is most important is once completed my yard won't flood and the ensuing mess that occurred won't repeat. I am relieved to see this progressing.
Approximately 4½ years ago the Ontario Electricity Support Program was created. As a recipient of Canada Pension Plan: Disability Benefits I was approved for a 5 year term. It is a simple matter of submitting a renewed application to continue receiving the electricity subsidy. With the covid pandemic and the work from home that is happening I've submitted my renewed application early in order to avoid a lapse in coverage. I expect common sense will prevail and my application (as well as being proactive) will be accepted.
The CPU cooling fan on my audio recording - music computer needed to be replaced. I ordered a replacement. It was a simple procedure to replace it on the "all in one" computer. I am glad this bit of maintenance is completed. When I use it this computer is extremely handy. I was able to find a demonstration on youTube before starting.
My uncle passed away in mid July. I decided to find a beautiful photo of roses and teddy bear to mail my aunt and support her. I thought this would be as meaningful as sending flowers but would still remain after the initial support from the death of my uncle subsides. I enjoy doing these things. I can't imagine that it is easy. I am hoping it will help make a difference.
