Confirmed My Emergency Department Doctor Followed Through Sending A Referral To My Surgeon

For a fourth time more than a week passed without a response from my surgeons office offering me an appointment. I reached out to the patient relations department of my local hospital. I needed to confirm that the emergency department doctor who treated me on February 24th 2026 did follow through with sending my surgeon a referral that I needed to be seen again. This indeed happened. My next step is contacting the patient relations department at the hospital where he works. If another week passes without a response then I will be forced to contact the College of Physicians and Surgeons for Ontario to examine why I haven't received a follow up appointment, pursue discipline for this happening and to bring about the follow up care I am requiring. When it is needed I am willing to speak up for myself. Not every circumstance requires this. Sometimes remaining quiet speaks volumes. But in this case I am now willing to rigorously defend myself.
