De-rostered From My Primary Care Physician

I have made the decision to be de-rostered from my primary care physicians. After several conversations with my close friends I don't feel I had any choice. The actions of this doctor remind me of someone who is checked out. But at the same time I am contending with real world consequences to her decisions. These are directly degrading my health and quality of life. I have made the decision to make a complaint with the College of Physicians and Surgeons against her. This is the mechanism for accountability of a doctor. The relationship is wrecked. I am going to attempt to start over. I expect I will have an uphill battle getting another family doctor. I do have significant ailments on account of my Legg Perthes disease. I believe the organization in Ontario Canada that places patients with doctors will consider as mitigating factors. On account of the pandemic there are some virtual doctors available for appointments regardless of where you live in Ontario Canada. I am hoping that in the short term this will fill the void this decision creates. I am committed to my life. I am trying my best to make my life work. I am willing to advocate for myself.
