I Met My New Neighbour

The two houses that touch the rear of my property were torn down. Today I met one of the people who purchased one of these lots. I try to know my neighbours. It is simply great meeting him. This seems like someone I will be able to get to know over the years. However I am mindful of what covid is doing to the cost of building materials. I genuinely have no idea how someone could afford the cost of building materials at the currently inflated prices. I am not really expecting to see a new house built in 2022 or even 2023.
