“Medi-Teddy”: Making IV Treatment For Children Safe And Comfortable

I want to share a neat device I've just learned about. One of my Facebook friends has just shared a post promoting Medi Teddy. This is like a sock for a child's IV treatments. The idea is to make a child feel safe while undergoing medical treatment. The IV fluids sit inside a pouch on the back of the teddy bear. In this way the child doesn't have to be as aware or apprehensive to the decisions being made in their treatment plan.
