Prepared The Spike For Installing My Weather Station Mast

The spike I ordered to mount the weather station was much shorter than I had been expecting. I was expecting it to be nearly 4 feet tall. In reality the part that goes in the ground is 2 feet tall. It needs reinforcing with rebar if I am to avoid it from heaving during the Canadian winter freeze - thaw cycles. The weather station needs to be level. Otherwise the data it produces is inaccurate. I've now prepared the spike to mount my weather station with 8 pieces of 12 inch rebar. This will give the surface area I am looking for. I am very hopeful of this working out.
