The operation to replace my right artificial hip is in 2 weeks. My day to day life has got really tricky. The artificial hip being replaced has started to pop out of the socket. I have got really good at popping it back into the socket. All that matters for the next 2 weeks is having sufficient sleep so my body is strong going into the surgery and getting my meals. I have just ordered a supply of frozen meals to get me through these next 2 weeks. I am really hoping by the time I am released from the hospital my life will be on a new trajectory and this business of living a real life version of Survival is a thing of the past.
