Reached Out To The City Of Napanee Ontario Concerning Their Homeless Population And Their City VIA Rail Station

There has been a lot of discussion concerning homelessness in the region where I live. There has been concern around homeless people using unmanned VIA Rail stations for shelter. The concern has escalated to the extent that the people who clean the Greater Napanee Ontario VIA Rail station are nervous going in there alone. This is a new development. It has occurred to me Smith Falls Ontario and Woodstock Ontario both have limited stops and aren't staffed from morning, throughout the day and until the final train departs in the evening. I wanted to suggest the City of Greater Napanee contact these cities to see how they are address cleaning the station and challenges related to homelessness. I enjoy travel by train. There is much more of nature to see compared to using the major highways. I don't want to see the people that live in Greater Napanee not make use of the train over this. The other thing that comes to mind is much improved economy villages with a train station experience. It is important to the City of Greater Napanee that solutions to this are identified.
